How our pieces are cut

  • All coats and jackets are designed for a slightly oversized, easy-to-layer fit.
  • Choose your usual size for the intended Boreal Luxe look.
  • If you’re between sizes and prefer a closer fit, go down one size.
  • If you’re between sizes and want a more dramatic oversized look, go up one size.

For a comfortable fit, pick a size with a chest measurement 2–4” (5–10 cm) larger than your body bust.

Garment Measurements (inches)

Use for shorter pieces like Astra, Luna, Sola, Vesper, Neriah, Ravena, etc.

*Length is from the highest point of the shoulder to the lowest point of the garment. Small variations (±0.4” / 1 cm) between styles are normal.

How to Measure a Coat You Already Own

  1. Shoulder width: Lay your coat flat and measure straight across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.

  2. Chest / Bust: Measure straight across from armpit seam to armpit seam, then double that number.

  3. Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the bottom hem.

  4. Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve (cuff).

Compare your coat’s measurements to the tables above and choose the size that’s 2–4” (5–10 cm) larger than your body bust for a comfortable, slightly relaxed fit.
