Boreal Summer — a halter, an open back, a bow

Alva ties at the neck and again at the back, so you set the fit yourself. The bust is gathered, the seam sits high, and three soft tiers fall to the floor.

The crinkle weave is light. It is unlined and slightly sheer — made for sun.

How to measure

Measure over your underwear, tape snug but not pulled tight.

  1. A · Bust — Around the fullest part, tape level at the back.
  2. B · Waist — Around the narrowest point, above the navel.

  • Unlined and slightly sheer — hold it up to the light and you will see through it
  • A deep V halter that ties behind the neck
  • Two softly gathered bust panels and a seam that sits high under the bust
  • An open back, bare from the nape to the waist
  • A wide sash that ties in a bow at the back
  • Three full tiers falling to the floor
  • No zip — it ties on

CARE

  • Hand wash cold, or machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a bag
  • Untie the sash and the halter before washing
  • Do not bleach
  • Hang to dry out of direct sun
  • Cool iron on the reverse, or hang it in a steamy bathroom
  • The crinkle is meant to be there — do not press it flat
