How to measure a coat you already own

1. Neck – Lay the coat flat with the zipper closed and the hood/collar smoothed out. Measure straight across the neck opening from one side seam to the other.
2. Shoulder width – Lay your coat flat and measure straight across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
3. Chest – Measure straight across from armpit seam to armpit seam, then double that number.
4. Length – Measure from the highest point of the shoulder down to the bottom hem.
5. Sleeve length – Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve (cuff).
