Maren is a sheer mesh column with raised flowers worked over it, so the pattern catches the light instead of printing flat. From across a room it reads as texture. Up close it reads as work.

The neckline runs on one long diagonal — one shoulder draped, one bare. Nothing else competes with it.

MATERIALS

  • Sheer stretch mesh, with raised three-dimensional floral appliqué worked over it
  • The appliqué is scattered across the bodice, the waist and the skirt, and carries on down onto the sheer hem
  • One short draped off-shoulder sleeve; the other shoulder is bare under a narrow strap
  • A sheer mesh yoke panel sits above the neckline across the upper chest
  • The waist is gathered into soft ruching, and the skirt falls straight to the floor
  • Fabric: 95% polyester, 5% spandex
  • Closure: a zip

CARE

  • Hand wash cold, on its own
  • Do not bleach
  • Reshape and dry flat, out of direct sun
  • Cool iron on the reverse only, never over the appliqué
  • Hang on a padded hanger so the mesh keeps its shape
