Sorrel arrives as two pieces and a scarf, which is the whole point. Wear the corset strapless, add the straps, tie the scarf high at the throat or let it fall from the shoulders.

The corset is boned and cupped, so it holds on its own. The skirt does the rest.

How to measure

Measure over your underwear, tape snug but not pulled tight.

  1. A · Bust — Around the fullest part, tape level at the back.
  2. B · Waist — Around the narrowest point, above the navel.
  3. C · Hips — Around the fullest part, feet together.

MATERIALS

  • Two pieces: a structured corset top and a separate mermaid skirt, worn overlapping
  • Corset: a folded cowl band across the bust, vertical panel seams, boning and built-in cups, fully lined
  • Back: a corset lace-up, threaded with a fabric cord and finished in a soft bow
  • Skirt: a wide pleated sash across the hip, close to the knee, then a mermaid flare
  • Included in the box: one long matching chiffon scarf and one pair of detachable straps
  • Fabric: stretch satin throughout, with chiffon for the scarf

CARE

  • Dry clean is the safest route for a boned corset
  • If washing at home, cold hand wash the skirt and scarf alone
  • Never wring, and never machine wash the corset
  • Line dry in the shade, away from direct heat
  • Cool iron on the reverse, or steam on the hanger
  • Store the corset flat so the boning keeps its shape
